First Foreign Artist To Top Oricon's Year-End Artist Rankings

Announced on December 24 (KST), BTS topped Oricon’s year-end artist rankings for 2021 in Japan, becoming the first foreign artist to top the chart! Streaming data and the total sales of an artist’s singles, albums, and DVDs are considered when determining the rankings.
This achievement comes after BTS became the first foreign group to top Oricon’s year-end album chart with BTS, THE BEST.
